TEAM VCC

Team VCC is a new project for 2009 -  a group of committed poker players, sponsored by The VIP Card Club. All Team VCC members are serious about their poker game and constantly looking to learn and improve.

This team was created for a number of reasons. Primarily, we wanted to give something back to some of our most loyal and active members and we felt sponsorship was an excellent way to do this. We assist sponsored players in finding the poker site most suited to them and ensure they get the best rewards available. Team members are also paid a monthly fee.

Team VCC is also meant to serve as an inspiration to new members of The VIP Card Club and to any poker player just starting out or looking to improve their game. All members of Team VCC have a profile displayed, telling everyone a little about themselves and how they got started in poker. They also post at least one article a month - which can be anything poker related. They may share some interesting hands, or their results for the month or talk about what they themselves are trying to achieve.

Members of Team VCC are encouraged to maintain an active presence on our forum to help share their knowledge of the game with other VIP Card Club members. If you have any questions for Team VCC, there is a dedicated forum for this and we hope this will help build the VIP Card Club forum into a useful place for our members to visit.

Team VCC members are also able to have private discussions on their own section of the forum. Most poker players will agree that a massive part of becoming a competent player is to constantly analyse and discuss both your own game and that of others. This section of the forum enables them to do exactly that with fellow Team VCC members.

As Team VCC grows, we are expecting to run exciting promotions specifically for team members, and we are hoping to sponsor some members in live events very soon. Please be patient while we  build the team up. We are hoping to turn this into a real community consisting of poker players of a varying standard from a variety of backgrounds and we are committed to providing everything we can to make this happen.

There are no specific entry requirements to Team VCC - only that you are serious about improving as a poker player. Various criteria will be used to judge suitability, but entry is not limited only to high stakes or high volume players. The terms of the sponsorship will vary depending on a number of factors. This is not a staking programme - if you are looking for staking then please vist our VIP Staking section. Team VCC members play with their own bankroll, independently of each other. If you are hoping to join a team of soft players, colluders or cheats then look elsewhere.
