VIP Card Club winner starts poker blog

Most of us online poker players know that having a good bankroll is absolutely key to our survival while we play and try to improve. Well the winner of our New Member Draw in January - Blackjack Fiend (not his real name!) - has just got himself a nice juicy bankroll! Five thousand pounds to be exact.

Blackjack Fiend (I'll think I'll start referring to him as BJF, it's easier!) has never played poker - either live or online. Yet, he is taking his £5,000 and setting it aside to learn the game and try to become a winning player. I met BJF at the weekend and he seems very passionate about this project and also hugely focused on what may lie in store for him. He appreciates how much he's got to learn and the discipline that will be required to become a winning online poker player.

He's keeping a record of his experiences and has started a blog (I told you he's taking it seriously!) which can be found at http://blackjack2poker.blogspot.com. We at the VIP Card Club will be following his progress very closely and we'll be doing anything we can to help.
