We've had a number of emails from people about what dates they can and cannot make and we've tried to accommodate as many people as possible.
The Final will be held on 6th November at G Casino Luton. We've not confirmed a start time yet - we're happy to go with the majority preference for afternoon/evening times.
We were, of course, anticipating 50 runners for the final, but it doesn't look like that many will qualify. Rather than offer up these places via satellites or direct buy-ins (and reduce our overheads!!) we're going to reward those of you that have been loyal to the league by only allowing those that have played the required number of games take part. This effectively increases the value of the final to each participant.
We'll get an email out today/tomorrow confirming this - in the meantime, any questions just let me know!
Evening preferred here. We had planned to go racing at Doncaster on that day (closing day of flat season) but I guess we could manage to do both with a later start. If there are only about 20-30 of us playing I don't suppose it's going to go on too late into the night as most likely we'd be heading off back home (to Leeds) after and not staying over.
what about everyone with Kids who have bonfire parties to go to? not sure "Daddy's playing poker" will settle them down
On a serious note, I don't mind what day or time as long as I have enough notice.
I suppose a late afternoon start would be preferred so when the tourney finishes the cash tables will just be getting busy , although as an afterthought if you start in the early afternoon, it might be over in time to enter the 8pm tourney at Luton

I will have just started a new job that week and this entails working Sunday 10-00am - 4-00pm ....... i have to travel back to Scarborough in North Yorkshire which is about 3 - 4 hrs traveling .......so depends on what time you call a late afternoon. I suppose if it starts around 4 - 5pm it should be ok
Still got some problems with the data for the last two weeks of tournaments, but should be able to get everything updated later on this evening. Failing that, it will be early tomorrow.

It's everyone. They will be going out tomorrow. We had been holding out in the hope of making an additional announcement with some good news for those qualified, but sadly we didn't quite pull it off.
10th October ............ still haven't received email ......... really disappointed that i wont be able to play the final due to the fact of the late start .......... so i will be getting my mate to play instead.
Natsamppp - you were sent an email, so not sure why that hasn't reached you. I'll get the email resent. Yes, you can just let me know the name of your replacement.
