Just read about it from the website.

How do you decide who you stake? And what information do you need from people who are interested in the offer?

I'm guessing they choose the people who will make them a profit. Also they probably want to know the limits you play, how many hours a day, what rooms and how much profit you normally make. Basically all things that it takes to work out if you will make them a profit and how big that profit will be.

Guys,

The staking program is not purely about finding the most profitable players, it's also about giving players opportunities they may not always have.

Of course the financial aspects come into it, but we look at a broad selection of criteria before choosing whether or not to stake someone. Generally, we are approached by someone interested but we have been know to make the intial approach ourselves.

There are a number of ways we do it too, including short and long term deals.

If you need more info, just drop me a line or ask in the forum.

Ok, sounds more fair that way. How do you find out if a player is as profitable as they say they are. Do you ask for things like screenshots of winnings or do you search them on places like sharkscope?

I have been staked a few times when I was just starting out. It's a great idea when you know you can beat a limit but you don't have the money to risk or you just don't want to risk your money. How high do you stake people up to?

I have applied to a few staking programmes but either never heard of them or my application was declined. Shows how good I am.

How does staking work? Who keeps the profit?

To answer some of your queries:-

Acehigh - Yes, sometimes we use online results sites to get some information but a lot of it is taken on trust. We will rarely start staking a new member for big money straight away - rather start them off at a certain level and see how they got on.

pkrplayer - We don't have an official limit - it depends on what's appropriate. We are always open to applications and if the circumstances are right and a deal can be struck, we'll do it!

tripkings - It can work in a number of different ways. Sometimes we effectively "buy" a percentage of a player, sometimes we stake players for a set number of tournaments. The most common way is to provide a fixed amount for a bankroll and we then receive a percentage of profits in return.
