Hello

I'm gonna break the trend here from most posters so far - I'm a casino player not poker. I play online casinos a fair bit, mostly on cryptologic sites with intercasino being my favourite. I play mostly blackjack and caribbean poker with a bit of roulette. I've been meaning to get into poker for a while but there seem to be a lot of good players out there and I figure I need to learn the game a bit before i start throwing my money around. So any tips for will be gratefully received!!!!

Hello mate

Great place to start looking if you want to learn poker. Been playing for a while now, I play a mix of live and online, Cash and sit & goes. Best bits of advice I can give you is to watch as much as you can (pokertube.com is a great site), read as much as you can (this site, books & mags) and join a site that you feel comfitable with. I play many sites but really into "interpoker" at moment. They do really low stakes for beginers and very user friendly.

Let me know how you get on.

How do you do on the casinos?

You can make alot more playing casinos then poker so why do you want to get into poker?

Well you can lose a lot more playing casinos too!! I do ok - I've played a lot for a long time and get some pretty good bonuses from a number of casinos and I'm not too reckless. But I like the idea of getting into poker as it's more of a skill game I guess. Don't get me wrong, I'll still be pounding the casinos, just fancy a bit more variety too!!

I see what you mean. You have more control over what's happening in poker unlike casinos.

I'm the opposite to you. I'm trying to get into Casinos a bit more. Can you recommend any good ones now? Guessing Littlewoods is one to stay away from.

Absolutely stay away from them. I'm owed money by them and I'm a bit scared I've lost it to be honest as I don't anything about this new company running it. I don't know what to do to be honest!

If you're looking for good casinos, my favourites have always been cryptologic and playtech based ones. Intercasino or William Hill for cryptologic and Totesport for playtech are probably the ones I've played most at. Never had any problems with any of them.

Also make sure you ring up there support unless you already have. They should be able to tell you whats happening and get your payment processed a bit faster.
