BIG DEAL POKER LEAGUE

The VIP Card Club is a proud partner of the Big Deal Poker League - a UK based poker league.

Formed in early 2008, the Big Deal Poker League was set up by Paul Kemp - a successful online and live poker player - with two very clear objectives. To provide poker players with the opportunity to play in a relaxed, fun environment AND offer them the chance to compete for top quality prizes.

There are a number of Big Deal venues, usually in pubs, and there is a points based league for each individual venue. Points are awarded based on finishing positions in the weekly tournaments. The higher you finish, the more points you earn. At the end of each three month season, a percentage of the highest finishers from each venue will be invited to the Main Event. This constitutes a live tournament in a poker room where the winner will walk away with a seat at a European Poker Tour tournament - worth several thousand dollars.

All players are welcome to join the Big Deal Poker League, regardless of ability or experience. While there are some very good players playing, beginner players are encouraged to join in and learn - and will never be made to feel uncomfortable. All Big Deal venues have an official organiser and a dealer to make sure events run smoothly.

As part of our partnership, we run a monthly online freeroll tournament with guaranteed prizes. Entry is open to Big Deal Poker League players who are also active VIP Card Club members*. Representatives from The VIP Card Club are regularly present at Big Deal venues - keeping an eye for out players who may benefit from VIP Poker Training or who may qualify for VIP Staking. With random spot prizes also being awarded, there are plenty of reasons to be get involved!
